Job Summary

As a DEXA Technologist at RadNet, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services. With a focus on bone density and diagnostic radiography, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient exams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality DEXA and diagnostic radiographic services on patients, adhering to legal scope of licensure.
  • Monitor patient well-being during exams, recognizing discomfort or medical problems and taking appropriate action.
  • Evaluate radiographs and/or DEXA scans for technical quality.
  • Respond to physician questions regarding exams.
  • Understand and utilize equipment adjustments to produce high-quality images and/or DEXA scans.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a state license and/or ARRT certification, depending on state regulations. Additionally, you should have experience working in a high-volume setting and possess a high school diploma or GED. BLS/CPR certification is also required.
