Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Eisenhower Health. As a Mammography Technologist II, you will be responsible for producing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography films, performing breast ultrasounds, and assisting radiologists with special procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escorts patients from the sub-wait area to the procedure room.
  • Explains procedures to patients prior to beginning exams.
  • Obtains appropriate breast and family history before procedures are completed.
  • Performs screening and diagnostic procedures, including breast ultrasounds.
  • Assists radiologists with special procedures, such as stereotactic core biopsies and ultrasound core biopsies.
  • Maintains cleanliness of radiology equipment and rooms.
  • Completes documentation accurately and timely in RadPlus and PenRad.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M), or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Breast (BR).
  • California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification in Radiology and Mammography.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist performing screening mammography.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience as a Mammography Technologist performing diagnostic mammography.
