Service Manager Job Summary:

At Courage Kia, we're seeking an exceptional Service Manager to lead our service department to new heights. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire service operation, ensuring it's profitable and running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records.

Service Manager Responsibilities:

• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service

• Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers

• Take ownership of customers' experiences by carrying out additional assignments, enabling the dealership to leave a positive impression

• Manage and hire technicians and service advisors

• Interview and make new hires

• Distribute work between technicians

• Prioritize required services

• Ensure customers have a positive dealership experience

• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries

• Spend quality time building relationships with customers

Service Manager Requirements:

• Technical automotive knowledge

• Demonstrated ability to manage others

• Organized and friendly personality

• Dealership experience preferred
