Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy department. This includes managing the workflow, ensuring efficient operations, and providing a positive patient experience. You will also be responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers, as well as leading training and performance management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pharmacy operations, including workflow, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and cashiers to ensure they are meeting company standards.
  • Lead performance management initiatives, including coaching, discipline, and termination.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
