Role Overview

  • Position: Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Analyst
  • Summary: This role serves as a vital business partner to Sales, Production, Marketing, Logistics, and Finance, assisting in the comprehensive S&OP process by strategically aligning demand and supply forecasts utilizing industry insights for the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
  • Classification: Exempt (US Only)
  • Management Responsibility: None

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the overall S&OP process and promote cross-departmental collaboration to ensure comprehensive content is available for informed decision-making.
  • Assist in creating 24-month forward-looking demand and supply forecasts through advanced statistical modeling techniques.
  • Monitor the accuracy of statistical forecasts, including the establishment and upkeep of baseline statistical forecasts.
  • Develop and track S&OP Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that prioritize initiatives for process enhancement.
  • Create reports detailing projected inventory levels, forecast accuracy, order projections, and other relevant trends.
  • In collaboration with Marketing and Sales, document agreed changes to demand and supply forecasts based on market insights.
  • Support the organization of monthly review meetings with key S&OP stakeholders, preparing necessary data and metrics, identifying gaps and capacity constraints, and ensuring follow-up on agreed actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, supply chain management, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a comfort level in data interpretation and challenge diagnosis.
  • Extensive background in planning and S&OP processes.
  • Proficient in computer and quantitative skills, including experience with supply chain planning systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibits a proactive approach with a desire for continuous learning and a growth mindset.
  • Experience in implementing change management strategies is advantageous.
