LHH is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support two corporate attorneys - a partner and an associate. This is a new position within our clients firm, and the ideal candidate will have a solid background in corporate law, particularly with experience in closings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with the preparation and review of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant information to support corporate transactions.
  • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare for client meetings by drafting minutes and resolutions, and assisting with other preparatory tasks.
  • Monitor deadlines and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Support corporate governance matters, including the maintenance of corporate records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the existing paralegal team to streamline processes and improve office operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal, with a proven track record of handling closings.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law and legal terminology.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in a large firm and seek a change of pace in a growing, dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on collaboration.
