Job Title: Paralegal Specialist Job Summary: As a Paralegal Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will assist judges, Army lawyers, and unit commanders with legal matters and judicial work. Key Responsibilities: • Provide legal documents in courts-martial and other military justice matters • Assist in legal affairs, such as power of attorney, wills, and separation decrees • Maintain law/administrative library • Monitor and review actions for accuracy Training and Benefits: As a Paralegal Specialist, you will receive 10 weeks of Basic Training and 10 weeks of Advanced Individual Training and on-the-job instruction. You will also be eligible for paid training, a monthly paycheck, and various benefits, including the Montgomery GI Bill, federal and state tuition assistance, and retirement benefits for part-time service. Requirements: To be eligible for this position, you must be at least a junior in high school, have a high school diploma or a GED certificate, and be between the ages of 17 and 35. You must also be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
