Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team and provide critical support at client locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in primary care or occupational medicine
  • Knowledge of managing workplace injuries and illnesses
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards
  • Experience in industrial settings is advantageous
  • Proficient in emergency medical and trauma care
Core Responsibilities

As an EMT, you will:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring patients feel supported during medical emergencies.
  • Exemplify professionalism and empathy, maintaining a respectful demeanor with all stakeholders.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain an organized workspace, ensuring equipment is stocked and ready for use.
  • Assess and respond to medical incidents promptly, providing appropriate care and minimizing unnecessary treatments.
  • Administer first aid and track on-site medical data, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Participate in safety meetings and conduct necessary inspections.
  • Collaborate with local emergency services to develop tailored response plans.
  • Complete necessary documentation and patient care reports.
Licenses and Certifications

Required:

  • Current EMT-Basic or EMT-Intermediate certification
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
Education and Skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations is preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Prior experience in emergency medical services or occupational health is a plus
Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to lift and carry heavy objects, frequent walking, and standing for extended periods. The EMT must possess dexterity for operating equipment and be comfortable with various physical tasks.

Work Schedule

This position is per diem, with weekend availability required.
