About the Opportunity

This Clinical Contract Specialist position at Eastern Virginia Medical School offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of clinical study agreements. As a key member of our sponsored research team, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contract terms, analyzing complex documents, and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for contract negotiation, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations;
  • Analyze and interpret contract documents, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for amendments and revisions;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Risk Management, and clinical teams, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes;
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with external partners, including global collaborators and vendors;
  • Provide guidance and training to research support staff and Principal Investigators on Eastern Virginia Medical School's policies and procedures;
  • Manage and coordinate subcontracting, modifications, and other related tasks;
