Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical providers in the delivery of high-quality services. Key Responsibilities- Room patients and facilitate provider schedules, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of care.
- Perform basic and routine patient care duties, including vital sign measurements and specimen collection.
- Support medical providers during procedures and examinations, providing necessary supplies and instruments.
- Complete patient visit records, maintain departmental logs, and perform other clerical duties as required.
- Administer medications to identified patient age groups in identified departments, as determined by the regional Nursing Service department.
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and a minimum of 120 hours of clinical experience.
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, customer focus abilities, and the ability to understand Kaiser Permanente customer needs.
