Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant I to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider. Your responsibilities will include gathering vital signs, specimen collection, communicating changes in patient condition, and general patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the delegation and/or supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider.
  • Gather vital signs, specimen collection, and communicate changes in patient condition.
  • Assist with keeping care areas stocked, cleaned, and orderly.
  • Maintain equipment and medical supplies.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, scheduling, data entry, and patient communication.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • MA certification or registration.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
