- Conduct both routine and advanced technical procedures in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to make informed technical decisions during testing.
- Prepare, evaluate, and test new reagents or controls to maintain high standards of quality.
- Deliver accurate and timely test results to support quality patient care.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control measures.
- Manage the inventory of testing supplies and assist with specimen processing as required.
- Uphold a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in clinical laboratory testing is essential. Certification in Blood Banking from ASCP or AMT is required.
