Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and nurtures relationships with existing and prospective clients through sales engagements and necessary travel.
  • Delivers exceptional service and comprehensive product knowledge to clients, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Maintains consistent communication with clients and Syngenta team members, serving as the intermediary between both parties.
  • Designs and executes yearly trial strategies to introduce new varieties that align with client requirements.
  • Offers technical solutions to complex challenges faced by clients while keeping the Territory Manager updated.
  • Creates and implements sales strategies to meet annual sales and profit targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Vegetable Seed sector is highly desirable.
  • General sales experience with familiarity in standard sales methodologies.
  • Capability to develop and execute new market and business growth strategies for profitable expansion.
  • Proficiency in forecasting sales and managing budgets.
  • Technical skills in crop management are essential.
  • Understanding of the Fresh Market and/or Processing market is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • This position necessitates up to 80% travel within the designated territory.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is essential.
