Establish a strong presence in the Americas market by cultivating strategic relationships with resellers and distributors. As a Lead Enterprise Channel Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through effective partnership development.

Average salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Description:

As a member of our channel sales team, your primary objective will be to develop and execute channel strategies that drive revenue growth and increase awareness of Canonical's open-source solutions. You will identify, recruit, and engage new partners, leveraging your network and prospecting skills to build mutually beneficial relationships.

  • Develop and execute channel strategies to drive revenue growth and increase awareness of Canonical's solutions
  • Identify and recruit new partners to expand the company's presence in the Americas market
  • Leverage personal network and prospecting skills to engage new partners and build relationships
  • Guide partners through onboarding and enablement processes
  • Develop go-to-market plans and commitments with partners
  • Arrange and execute sales and pre-sales trainings to resellers
  • Drive and manage channel pipeline through recurring partner interactions
  • Support partner satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor and point of contact

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field
  • Experience in software or technology sales from the specified market
  • Fluency in English
  • Understanding of open-source, Linux, and Ubuntu
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Effective negotiating skills with ability to close sales
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation
