Patient Access Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at MultiCare Health System, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and admissions processes.
Key Responsibilities- Register patients in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing multiple communication methods.
- Collect and verify patient demographics, insurance information, and obtain signatures as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service, interacting effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ensure accurate billing information and promote compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collect co-payments, deductibles, and deposits, and arrange payment plans as needed.
- Communicate and coordinate with various departments, medical offices, and healthcare facilities to ensure seamless patient services.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives, staff meetings, and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Hospital patient access, medical billing, or office administrative experience preferred.
- Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) certification preferred.
