Job Title: Senior Logistics Manager

Koniag Government Services, a leading provider of enterprise solutions, professional services, and operational management, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Manager to support our government customer in Washington, DC.

Job Summary:

The Senior Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading a team of logistics professionals to ensure the effective and efficient management of supply programs and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in conducting logistical tasks for commercial or government organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of logistics professionals to achieve supply program and operational goals
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with government and contractor personnel to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of logistics services
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics, with a strong background in supply program management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Master's degree in a logistics-related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Working Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment with a moderate noise level.

The incumbent will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.

The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time.

The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
