Job Title: Senior Logistics Manager

Koniag Government Services, a leading provider of enterprise solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Manager to join our team in Washington, DC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned logistics professional with a strong background in supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our logistics team, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supply chain, and providing exceptional customer service to our government clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the logistics team to achieve operational excellence and meet customer requirements
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and coordinate transportation activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on logistics-related matters to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a government or commercial setting
  • Proven track record of success in supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation coordination
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other logistics-related software
