Overview

Logistics Management Institute (LMI) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to support a federal program management office (PMO) responsible for planning, acquiring, and managing the deployment and operation of technology and capabilities to ensure border security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide configuration management and product lifecycle management support for client acquisition programs throughout their lifecycles, from inception to award, deployment, operation, modification, and disposal.
  • Develop and maintain CM plans, establish and control CM baselines, and conduct a range of configuration management activities, including identification, control, status reporting, and audits.
  • Lead or support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes.
  • Conduct trade studies and recommend CM tools as required.
  • Provide timely and accurate status reporting to program management and engineering teams.
  • Support documentation management and have a complete understanding of Change Management (CM) process within Service NOW.
Requirements
  • 4 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in performing configuration management and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience in supporting CCB and ECP processes.
  • Experience in using CM and/or PLM tools.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Government program acquisition process and DHS or DoD acquisition life cycle framework and systems engineering life cycle framework.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, independent performer who can perform well in a collaborative, team environment.
Additional Information

Some travel (one week every 2-3 months) within the United States will be required. All positions require eligibility to acquire CBP BI, for which you must be a U.S Citizen. Highly Preferred: Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) BI.
