Job Title: Senior Technical TrainerJob Summary:

Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Trainer to support the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) security assistance program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tactical-level logistics and experience working with international peacekeeping forces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct training requirements specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) for peacekeeping-related contract training.
  • Plan and provide tactical-level logistics to support battalion and brigade-level soldiers and their systems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for foreign security partners.
  • Collaborate with government agencies and international organizations to support peacekeeping operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of U.S. or NATO military experience, including service after September 11, 2001.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and providing tactical-level logistics to battalion and brigade-level soldiers and their systems.
  • Relevant military operations or foreign security force (police or military) capacity building experience in the last 5 years.
  • Strong understanding of UN mission support and experience working with international peacekeeping forces.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one deployment to a combat, peacekeeping, or other contingency operation while serving in a logistics unit or assigned as logistics staff officer.
  • Experience as a trainer to a foreign security partner.
Work Environment:

The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. Occasional travel may be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position is self-managed and works at the direction of the government and is directly related to the business operation supporting the customers objectives.

Additional Qualifying Factors:

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
