About the Job

Compass Pointe Consulting is looking for a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee the development, review, and execution of contracts. The successful candidate will have expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of contract management experience, preferably in federal contracting. Certification as a Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is an asset.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential, as is the ability to negotiate contracts effectively and understand legal principles and contract law.

Job Description:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company regulations.
  • Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with contracts and implementing strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Ensuring all contracts adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitoring contract performance, tracking key milestones, and managing contract amendments and renewals.

Salary Estimate: $85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
