Contract Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Contract Specialist to join our team at Compass Pointe Consulting. This individual will play a pivotal role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company regulations.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of contract management experience, preferably in federal contracting. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or a related field is required. Certification as a Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is preferred.
This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret instructions and work independently. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. They will also possess negotiation skills and a solid understanding of legal principles and contract law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company regulations.
- Managing contractual risks, resolving disputes, and maintaining detailed records of all contract-related documents.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including legal teams, procurement departments, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Analyzing contract data to identify trends, improve contract strategies, and inform decision-making.
Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
