Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Assembly Operations: Oversee the assembly and testing of industrial control panels, ensuring accurate construction from schematic wiring diagrams and bills of material.
  • Load and Test Software Programs: Load software programs and test PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs to ensure proper functionality.
  • Manage Scheduling and Inventory: Utilize scheduling software and checklists to ensure timely completion and shipment of all jobs in the Panel Shop, while maintaining accurate inventory levels for parts and supplies.
  • Review and Improve Processes: Continuously review and improve processes in the Panel Shop, identifying deficiencies and potential enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with purchasing, vendors, project line managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure panels are built to exact specifications and standards.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager, including operating equipment such as Arc Flash Protective Equipment, computers, forklifts, scales, hand trucks, dollies, and other manufacturing tools.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in electronic/electrical circuitry and control panel assembly.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with electrical wiring systems and programming various types of controllers.
  • Associate degree in electronic or electrical technology (Preferred)
