Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Spectrum. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction efforts of our in-house teams and contract labor, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of in-house construction teams and contract labor
  • Plan and organize construction efforts to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate with engineers and developers to design and implement construction projects
  • Perform site inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are met
  • Monitor and report on daily production and submit reports as required
  • Reconcile submitted invoices to work completed in the field
  • Coordinate permitting and make-ready process for construction projects
  • Communicate with management to provide updates on construction progress
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in OSP construction work in the Telecom field
  • CDL license and experience managing in CDL environment
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of company products and services
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project supervision experience in HFC/FTTH construction
  • Supervisory or leadership experience
Working Conditions

This role will require working in an office and field environment, with exposure to dust, dirt, noise, insects, rodents, pets, and cleaning solutions. You will also work outdoors in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day or night, and may be required to work near power lines and electricity.
