Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Festival Foods. As a key member of our retail and grocery store team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, ensuring a pleasant and efficient shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with Guests: Develop strong relationships with our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience through friendly conversations, eye contact, and personalized attention.
  • Efficient Transactions: Process sales and handle monetary transactions with care, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all interactions.
  • Bagging with Care: Bag items thoughtfully to ensure products reach their destination in the condition they left our store.
  • Stay Informed: Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements to assist guests effectively.
  • Maintain Order: Keep your register station neat and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Communication: Relay guest requests to the Guest Services leadership team as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Quality Standards: Ensure all quality and quantity standards are met, especially during peak times.
  • Teamwork: Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
  • Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage with guests and provide outstanding service.
  • Retail Experience: Ability to process information and merchandise transactions and handle cash and media at registers.
  • Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
  • Accuracy: Ability to read, count, and write accurately to ensure precise transactions.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; walk in the store; bend, stoop and kneel regularly.
  • Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination in order to operate equipment.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

  • Two-Week Advanced Scheduling: Better Planning. Better Balance. We provide our associates with their schedules two weeks in advance, offering greater predictability & flexibility.

Associates are given shares based on their years of service and earnings.
