We have an exciting opportunity for imaginative News Producers in various locations. In this capacity, you will oversee the daily production of our newscasts. This role will involve close collaboration with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk, and Anchors to shape the newscast and its content. You will be responsible for determining the content and flow of newscasts, working alongside management and on-air personnel to generate and craft stories, as well as developing engaging content for our digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Strong news judgmentExceptional writing skills that are both compelling and preciseThe ability to multitask and effectively manage time to create an engaging and informative newscastCapability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentExcellent leadership and communication abilitiesThe capacity to implement news strategies and objectives in daily broadcastsFlexibility and adept problem-solving skills are essentialProficiency in non-linear editing software (e.g., Avid) and newsroom systems like iNewsExperience:
