Administrative Assistant for Faculty Recruiting Position

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Faculty Appointments Committee at Vermont Law School. This is a temporary, part-time position that requires a regular presence on campus.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with scheduling interviews, coordinating with the Faculty Appointments Committee, candidates, and faculty.
- Provide administrative support, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense processing.
- Maintain files, both electronic and paper, and provide general administrative support as needed.
- Request support from other departments as needed, such as IT and Buildings and Grounds.
- Associate's degree plus two or more years of relevant experience.
- Strong calendar management skills and experience with event or travel planning.
- Understanding of and appreciation for inclusion, including the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and maintain recordkeeping systems.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments.
- Basic knowledge of budgets and cost estimating and processing.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing technological work environments.
- Solid computer skills, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment, and experience with Microsoft Office (365) applications.
