Job Summary

Vermont Law and Graduate School is seeking a highly qualified Faculty Member to join our team as a Restorative Justice Professor. This is a tenure-track position that requires expertise in Restorative Justice and a commitment to racial, social, and economic justice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Restorative Justice courses and develop curriculum
  • Lead the Restorative Justice program and oversee its implementation
  • Recruit and mentor students, as well as support faculty in their teaching
  • Develop and manage program funding and resources
  • Collaborate with the Center for Justice Reform and other departments
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Restorative Justice, Social Work, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Education, or a closely related field
  • Experience in restorative justice practices and leadership roles
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in obtaining external funding and grants
  • Understanding of and appreciation for inclusion and diversity
