Materials Management Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Management Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Materials and Process Engineering organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of materials used in our products.
Key Responsibilities- Creation and maintenance of material and process specifications
- Creation and maintenance of RMD and supplier test instructions
- Material obsolescence tracking and management
- Review and approval of material shelf life
- Support Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain organizations by resolving issues related to the procurement of material and other tasks to ensure the use of compliant material at RMD
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in engineering technical writing and specifications (internal or commercial or military)
- Ability to communicate with parties within and outside of own discipline
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
