In the role of Project Manager, you will be accountable for the comprehensive project operations related to inactive ship maintenance and modernization detachments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Foster a close and effective working relationship with all personnel and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
- Material Management: Oversee materials or products as dictated by contract requirements (Budget & Production).
- Equipment Oversight: Manage Government Furnished Vehicles, Property, Equipment, and materials as provided by the government.
- Financial Management: Administer funds on the contract according to Accounting Classification Resource Number and Technical Instruction Letter.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ship maintenance or naval operations.
- PMP Certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience as a Naval Officer or Senior Enlisted with a focus on Engineering or Operations.
- A total of 15 years in ship maintenance with 7 years in management or leadership roles.
- Experience collaborating with a Bargaining Unit is advantageous.
