Job Summary:

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Operational Manager to oversee the 2nd shift operation in our Cleveland area facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and execute production schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet customer demand. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficiency.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production workers to achieve performance goals. Assign tasks, provide training, and address performance issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to food safety and quality standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles. Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to identify and resolve issues.
  • Equipment and Facility Management: Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment. Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment breakdowns and repairs.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry standards. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and certifications.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and safety incidents. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a production supervisor or in a similar role in the food industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
