About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to join our AWS Developer Experience team in North America. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for building and growing developer communities in the region, while also building lasting relationships with AWS community leaders and advocates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a community advocacy strategy to engage with passionate developers and builders who seek to acquire Cloud and AWS skills.
  • Scale existing community awareness programs in NAMER (AWS User Groups, AWS Community Day events, and more), as well as innovate net-new community initiatives relevant to the region.
  • Report on metrics and discuss progress of the community initiatives with leadership, evolving strategy as needed to align to shifting community needs.
About the Team

This role will join the AWS Community Team within our AWS Developer Experience organization, where our goal is to win the hearts and minds of developers and hands-on builders around the world, by meeting them where they are and providing the right technical education, tools, and resources to enable developer success.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working with developer communities
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience running and growing communities of developers
