Job Title: Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent

HITT Contracting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supporting the project manager in managing workflow, communicating project priorities, and maintaining daily logs and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate project schedules and ensure proper methods and sequence of installation are followed.
  • Maintain HITT quality standards for all aspects of the project.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and ensure they are treated fairly.
  • Ensure complete and accurate daily documentation of work orders and tickets.
  • Identify problems early and act immediately to provide solutions.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
  • 2-5 years' experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Tenant renovations, service work, and work in occupied spaces are a plus.
  • Project lead experience is a plus.
  • Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office suite and ProCore.
  • OSHA 30 Certification is preferred.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
