### Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Permanent General Superintendent to oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

### Key Responsibilities

* Oversee all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning to project completion.
* Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
* Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring all construction activities adhere to industry safety standards.
* Coordinate and supervise the work of all construction crew and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed according to design specifications.
* Perform regular site inspections to ensure quality control and identify potential issues or delays.
* Manage project budgets, including tracking expenditures and forecasting costs.
* Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to provide accurate project estimates.
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages team performance and high morale.
* Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to ensure all parties are informed and satisfied.
* Conduct regular progress meetings, providing updates and addressing any concerns or changes in the project scope.

### Qualifications

* Minimum of 15+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
* Proficient understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
* Demonstrated experience in budget management, construction safety, time management, construction estimating, and blueprint reading.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team of professionals.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Proficiency in using construction management software and technology.
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
* Certifications in construction safety and quality control are highly desirable.
