Overview:
This role offers an opportunity to contribute positively to the lives of individuals in need of support. The Direct Support Representative will engage with clients to enhance their daily living skills and promote independence.
Work Schedule:
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate understanding and application of competencies tailored to various age groups and specific populations.
2. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and dressing.
3. Provide supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
4. Support skill-building initiatives that foster independence.
5. Encourage participation while being respectful and supportive of individual differences, including age, gender, and cultural backgrounds.
Case Management:
1. Conduct assessments of clients' skills and needs.
2. Collaborate in the development of treatment plans.
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of goals and procedures outlined in the treatment plans.
Program Implementation:
1. Execute formal skill-building programs as specified in treatment plans.
2. Assist clients in engaging in health-related activities according to established policies.
Compensation:
$19 per hour.
