Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Management Supervisor to lead our team of construction managers in providing field-based contract and construction management services for our capital projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of daily work plans, submitting LOTO requests, and ensuring that work is completed safely, timely, and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to a team of construction managers and ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that work is completed safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
  • Work closely with the Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance supervisors to coordinate upcoming level of effort for QA/QC oversight schedules and assignments.
  • Assist the Project Management supervisor and project managers in assigning and managing CM personnel support services on capital projects.
  • Assist Plant Outage Managers in planning outages and outage schedules.
  • Assist the Long-Range Forecast (LRF) team by partnering with the Project Manager supervisors in reviewing future projects for feasible schedules and constructability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Four years of experience in construction management of power plant retrofit projects.
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a combination of college coursework and/or experience in construction management of power plant retrofit projects totaling eight years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in electric power plant modification construction management.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of schedule and contract management and the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) process.
  • Working knowledge of Maximo, MS Project, Primavera P6, and other computer software applications.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) processes.
  • Experience in project management or engineering.
  • Project Management Institute Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
