Senior HR Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Specialist to join our team at Target. As a key strategic partner, you will provide technical and administrative support to the HR team, ensuring the smooth operation of employee records, employment orientation, compensation and benefits, and cyclical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Federal and State employment regulations and company policy.
- Support the staffing needs of the distribution center through employee orientation, hiring, promotion, transfers, resignations, and terminations.
- Ensure timely execution of compensation and benefits programs, timekeeping, and record-keeping practices.
- Assist with employee questions and escalate concerns to leadership as appropriate.
- Coordinate cyclical processes and new initiatives as assigned.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent experience, 1+ years of administrative experience, and strong customer/client service skills. You should be proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and computer systems, and able to work with highly confidential information. Additionally, you will need to be able to take initiative, make fair and consistent decisions, and adapt to change.
