Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Emeritec Inc. in the Portland / Vancouver area.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $65,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our company offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a vacuum truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
  • Operate vacuum equipment, run pressure washer, and dump spoils in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Properly track and document activity logs to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch immediately.
  • Inspect trucks before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in heavy equipment operation or related fields.
  • Commercial driver's license A or B.
  • Ability to handle physical workload and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
