Key Responsibilities- Unload trucks and manage the sorting of logs in the scaling bay;
- Load logs onto trucks for transportation to the mill;
- Assist scalers and buckers as needed, maintaining productivity while adhering to safety protocols;
- Transport logs from the scaling bay to log decks, ensuring efficient storage and organization;
- Drive log trucks transporting logs to the mill for processing;
- Ability to operate Volvo log loaders and Link Belt shovels in a dynamic log yard setting;
- Quality-focused, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills;
- Basic math skills and physical ability to lift up to 50lbs;
- Able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English, with strong attention to detail;
We offer an hourly wage between $27.32 - $30.36, opportunities for increases based on experience, plus competitive benefits including dental and medical coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and more.
Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing, as well as background checks.
