Email Marketing Strategist

As the Email Marketing Manager at Cricut, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales targets through the development and execution of email marketing strategies. You will be accountable for achieving Email channel revenue goals and other applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate email marketing strategies and support the broader DTC promotional calendar.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for email campaigns and A/B testing.
- Create, configure, and launch email campaigns using marketing automation tools.
- Document plans, campaign performances, and test results.
- Drive email marketing operation improvements with automation, standardization, and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage segmentation strategy, use data and creativity to explore and test new segments, identify opportunities for A/B testing in segmentation and messaging to optimize and drive improvements to KPIs.
- Create and monitor complex personalized journeys, triggers, and automations with static and dynamic content.
- Analyze performance of email marketing channels and journeys, seeking ways to improve performance by delivering insights to key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic guidance for international marketing teams to replicate and execute global programs.
- Work closely with Brand and Creative Marketing teams to prepare marketing plans that are consistent in storytelling campaigns; ensure email tactics are sufficiently planned to achieve campaign objectives, provide program and industry trends to inform the creative approach, and close the loop with campaign insights to inform future executions.
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with key internal business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or other related field preferred.
- 3+ years digital marketing experience with emphasis in email marketing.
- Experience leveraging a complex marketing automation/CRM system like Selligent, ExactTarget/Salesforce, Adobe Campaign, Braze, or Responsys.
- Passion for personalization, data-driven marketing, and building programs that drive incremental results.
- Deep knowledge in customer segmentation, list management, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM laws.
- Deep knowledge in email and CRM marketing.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
