Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and prepare daily food distributions.
  • Respond to inquiries related to pantry services.
  • Receive and inspect food deliveries, ensuring quality and proper storage.
  • Assist with the transportation of food items as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records, including volunteer hours and food distribution logs.
  • Coordinate food pickups from donors and local food banks.
  • Manage pantry supplies and order new stock as necessary.
  • Implement a regular cleaning and maintenance schedule for the pantry.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with health regulations.
  • Ensure pantry equipment is functioning properly and report any issues promptly.
  • Communicate regularly with the supervisor regarding inventory levels and client needs.
