Position Overview

This position is crucial for overseeing daily activities in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, ensuring the seamless execution of our Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise. The Assistant Manager is accountable for delivering outstanding internal and external service, driving sales, and maintaining compliance with all operational policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Internal Service Excellence: Responsible for recruiting, selecting, training, and evaluating restaurant staff. Ensure optimal staffing levels and implement comprehensive training systems for all team members. Identify and nurture potential leaders within the team, fostering a positive and engaging work environment that promotes high performance and adherence to company standards.

- Guest Experience Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure exceptional service delivery. Train staff to provide outstanding guest experiences and maintain high food quality standards. Actively engage with guests, addressing concerns promptly and professionally to uphold a positive brand image.

- Financial Performance: Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial metrics, identifying trends and implementing improvement strategies. Develop and execute plans to enhance restaurant profitability while monitoring costs and ensuring adherence to budgetary goals.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager in a customer service setting for internal candidates; external candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience with P&L responsibilities.

Skills: Must be at least 18 years old and complete necessary training programs. Strong interpersonal skills, analytical abilities, and proficiency in basic math are essential. A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a personal vehicle for business purposes are required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift, lift and carry weights between 10-65 lbs, and operate restaurant equipment.
