Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate system scheduling at a portfolio level, ensuring seamless integration and efficient deployment of changes.
- Develop and implement deployment plans, Go/No Go checklists, and deployment coverage to minimize risks and maximize success.
- Utilize best practices and standards to manage configuration and ensure an accurate CMDB across the program.
- Collaborate with teams to prepare and execute a change delivery framework, enabling forward planning and effective change management.
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between teams to ensure effective communication and change details are shared across the portfolio.
- Identify and mitigate change risks, resolving issues that impact scope, schedule, and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with new change management technologies and methodologies, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs to staff, ensuring they're equipped to handle technology-based change initiatives.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in ITIL/ITSM, with a strong background in SDLC Release Management.
- Excellent time management, task planning, and prioritization skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing client requirements.
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision, managing multiple concurrent releases in development.
- Experience with Service Management technology, such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with continuous integration systems, such as GitLab.
- Experience with work cycle management tools, like RTC and ClearQuest.
- Familiarity with containerization platforms, such as OpenShift.
- Familiarity with Urban Code Deploy and Urban Code Release.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Active DOD Secret clearance and ability to obtain agency suitability clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary up to 75% of the time in an office environment.
- Ability to traverse between work locations to accomplish work duties.
- Ability to operate IT equipment, such as a computer, copier, fax machine, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and co-workers to exchange information accurately.
- Ability to read, review, and respond to electronic and verbal communications.
- This position supports an IT operations environment, with potential for night and weekend work, as well as on-call rotations.
