Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fine Dining Runner to join our team at Breva. As a key member of our service staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service by ensuring the timely and accurate presentation of food and beverages to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to the appropriate table with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff to understand the status of each order.
  • Prioritize hot or time-sensitive items to maintain their temperature and quality.
  • Verify special requests and dietary restrictions, and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
  • Support servers when needed, such as refilling water or clearing empty plates.
  • Keep the expo area and service stations clean and organized.
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables, ensuring a clean and organized dining area.
  • Maintain open communication channels with the kitchen, servers, and other restaurant staff.
  • Relay important information, such as delays or changes in orders promptly.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Address any guest concerns or inquiries related to the food being served.
  • Handle multiple orders simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
  • Assist in managing peak dining hours and ensuring timely service.
  • Monitor the quality of dishes to uphold the restaurant's standards.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies to the kitchen or management for resolution.
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure an exceptional dining experience by following the Company's standard of service.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred, especially in a fine dining environment.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and health regulations.
  • Customer-centric.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a high-demand and fast-paced work environment.
