About the Unit
The G90 Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit specializes in the care of post-operative urology patients and overflow surgical cases. Our focus is on effective pain management, restoration of bowel and bladder function, DVT prevention, and promoting patient mobility.
Our patient demographic ranges from young adults to geriatric individuals, with the average age being around 65 years. Common procedures performed in this unit include partial nephrectomy, radical nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy, treatment for urolithiasis, and cystectomy with urinary diversion.
Your Role as a Registered Nurse (RN)
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with established policies and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assess and coordinate discharge plans for patients.
- Document and communicate patient conditions effectively.

Responsibilities Overview
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
