Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tier 1, 2, and 3 desktop support experience
  • Work with customers to resolve software and hardware related issues through phone, email, and/or remote or in-person assistance
  • Collaborate with supervisors and vendors to find short-term and long-term resolutions for issues such as removing viruses, installing hardware and software, and imaging computers
  • Install and troubleshoot classroom technology such as projectors, cameras, speakers, and document cameras
Requirements:
  • Must be a currently enrolled student, registered for classes, and in good academic standing
  • Must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and basic troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work individually and also with team members
  • Must effectively communicate one on one with end users
  • Ability to efficiently manage your time in a fast-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Windows OS, Mac OS, audio/video equipment, access controls, Microsoft Office Suite, computer programming, mobile devices, and Active Directory Services
Physical Demands:
  • Transport computers and other equipment across campus
  • Climb ladders to work on elevated or mounted equipment
Salary:

Starting at $13 an hour
