As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, while also contributing to the coordination and delivery of clinical and distributive services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical review and verification of provider orders to ensure accuracy and safety
- Participate in antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety initiatives to promote optimal patient care
- Provide drug information to providers, nurses, and other ancillary personnel to support informed decision-making
- Oversee inpatient pharmacy activities and pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient and effective medication management
- Collaborate with the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor and other members of the pharmacy leadership team to develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures
- Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree
- Montana licensure (Pharmacist) or eligibility to obtain licensure upon hire
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification within one year of hire
- Preferred: PGY1 residency or equivalent experience
