We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Supervisor to join our team at a rapidly growing food company focused on expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our food manufacturing facility, as well as supervising a team of nearly 35 employees.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning and sanitizing of the facility and equipment, ensuring compliance with SQF certification and corporate standards.
- Lead and develop a team of sanitation professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities and goals.
- Ensure the Sanitation department is OSHA compliant and responsible for the safety and welfare of team members.
- Develop and implement cleaning and sanitizing procedures, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual Preventive Maintenance schedules.
- Participate in objective setting, plan development, and performance reviews to ensure the team is meeting its goals and objectives.
- Previous experience in food plant sanitation is essential.
- Must understand GMPs and the use of cleaning chemicals.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Must be bilingual, English/Spanish.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- HACCP Certification is a major plus.
Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 7:30 AM.
