Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including apartments, common areas, and mechanical equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with property managers, residents, and other stakeholders to ensure that maintenance needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve maintenance-related issues in a timely and cost-effective manner, using problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, engineering) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on maintenance experience, with a focus on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and other related trades.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and technical skills, with the ability to lift and work with heavy equipment.
  • Certifications: EPA or CFC certification required; HVAC certification and CAMT license preferred.
