Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Medix. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including updating patient information and insurance details
  • Handle multi-line phone system and respond to patient inquiries
  • File and maintain medical records, including scanning documents into electronic health records
  • Collect co-pays and cash payments, and perform opening and closing clinic duties
  • Ensure the waiting area and reception counter are tidy and well-maintained throughout the day
  • Monitor schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedule follow-up appointments as needed
  • Respond to designated tasks in the electronic health record, and order clinic office supplies
  • Sell and track cosmetic products, and distribute mail
  • Prepare for next day scheduled appointments
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior healthcare and/or medical receptionist experience
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Compensation

$19 - $21 per hour
