Culinary Operations Coordinator

About the Role:
The Expeditor is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for ensuring seamless communication between the front and back of house operations. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the pass with garnish each day, updating and reviewing daily menu offerings
- Expedite all savory tickets during service, maintaining ticket times and communicating with chefs as needed
- Communicate effectively with the Chef de Cuisine, Proprietor, and other departments to ensure smooth service
- Organize and gather plates and service ware, maintaining a clean and organized pass
- Review and edit daily menus, creating culinary cards and dietary restriction sheets as required
- Assist in training junior staff members on proper procedures and protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on culinary arts
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through to meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and welcoming demeanor, with a focus on approachability for culinary team members
